About Us - Madereira Almari

Founded by Almacir Antônio Gaspar, Madeireira Almari was born from the dream of a young entrepreneur who believed in independence and in turning hard work into opportunities. Coming from a humble family in Quilombo – SC, Almacir built his journey with dedication and resilience.

Seeking new perspectives, he moved to Ponte Alta do Norte after selling his motorcycle repair shop. There, he began producing plywood and pine veneers, overcoming challenges and gaining experience in the industry. Even when facing initial difficulties, he never lost sight of his goal to build a solid business for his family.

In 2014, Almacir purchased a 2-hectare property, and the following year he inaugurated a modern production line, turning Laminados Almari into a regional benchmark. Through seriousness, punctuality, and a strong commitment to quality, the company won the trust of significant clients in the market.

The year 2019 marked an important milestone with the implementation of solar energy and the modernization of facilities. In 2020, the arrival of a Chinese production line significantly increased production capacity, reaching 800 m³ of veneers per month.

In recent years, the company has experienced even greater growth: new investments have brought a second Chinese production line, a truck, and four harvesters, boosting production capacity to over 1,800 m³ per month — with projections to reach 2,500 m³ soon.

Today, Madeireira Almari has 50 employees committed to quality, innovation, and sustainability. Under the leadership of Almacir Gaspar, with Jane Gaspar in administration and Igor Gaspar heading the Investments and Innovation department, the company continues to expand with ethics, transparency, and respect for people and the environment.
